it was like Paddy's market in the house this morning. 2 carers, 1 hairdresser and the cleaner all in the house at the same time!!
My leg is a bit better this morning, my knee cap still feels like it full of lead, but not quite as bad as yesterday. The washing dried in the sun, will wash the towels today and put them on the airer, the forecast is for it to be quite warm today.
DB's getting more confident now, he did just walk into the garden yesterday to look at the bulbs, I need to ring Trevor and sort out when he is to start back. I need to tax the car first.
No night carers for Edwin and I think mine will stop soon as well, I can manage to get undressed and dressed, its just washing I need help with until I am secure enough to go in the shower again.
Nothing planned for today, just sit with my leg up and do a couple of exercises..... thats it.
Sweet and sour chicken by request tonight...... I still have quite a few frozen ready meals.

ReplyDeleteAm so glad you're feeling better all these weeks ahead of that expected 30 weeks you were told healing could take. Glad, too, that DB is getting to walk a bit outdoors as I know how much he enjoys that. Is there a chair outside where he can safely sit if needed and get up from?

It's 21*C here today so plan to finish sweeping the front porch amid other tasks.
