But it's bitterly cold out.
DB spent most of the morning asleep, I hung the laundry on the airer in the sewing room, but away the bits left from Saturday's wash.
Spent most of the morning reading, sorted out the supper, belly pork in tomato sauce with mash, carrots and peas. DB will have a mince pie with custard, I will finish up the crumble.
Tomorrow is the coffee morning here, so hopefully will get to that. I hope to get to the Chapel next Wednesday to deliver cards etc.
Hope the weather warmed up so you could comfortably go to the coffee morning today.
ReplyDeleteSorry I missed this post yesterday but I cut/joined/pressed the binding fabric for the 2nd doll quilt and sewed it to the quilt so was away from my computer all day.
Hope DB is enjoying his forays to the common room to meet and talk with those there.
Tomorrow is Thanksgiving, so today will make the sweet potato casserole and green bean casserole. DH is making the cornbread dressing today, too. Tomorrow I'll make the corn pudding. As a short-cut, we bought dinner rolls and pies.
Our high temperature today is a very warm 22*C with tonight's low 2.0*C. Tomorrow a high of 11*C and low of 1.5*C are expected. Crazy weather.
