Today was DB's brother in laws funeral. We were sad not to be able to go, but long distance travel is a no no. We were lucky that it had been decided to video it on a live link and also on Y Tube. I managed to connect my tablet to the TV, there was no sound, which was a bit disappointing, but this afternoon I was able to pick it up on Y Tube and there was sound on that.
As we expected there were a lot of people in the congregation and 25 family members there.
I had sent a bouquet to M in the week, I must be telepathic or something, the wreath on B's coffin were the same as the bouquet........I had sent.
DB has been up and down this week, it has rained solidly all week, very depressing. I have resurrected a crochet project that has been hanging around for ages. I havevrun out of wool, so will have to see what I can find. I did managed to get some from Aldi, but it is too dark for the present project.
Supper tonight was fish fingers and chips, no dessert.
Again, my sympathy for your BIL's recent death and it was good you and DB could see and hear it on-line. Do you suppose the flowers on top of the casket were the very ones you sent?
ReplyDeleteWe had 6" of fluffy snow yesterday on top of the leftover frozen snow and ice from 2 weeks ago. What a cold mess and it's too cold to melt. The forecast for the coming week says we may warm up to 12*C on Tuesday and Wednesday. That should help.
