and with it threats of prolonged snow storms.......starting in Scotland tomorrow. We just have a very dull day, at least its not raining.
Not a lot to report, life goes on much as usual. DB did go to Scrabble on Saturday which gave me an extra hour. to myself. Cleaner here yesterday, she put the new bedroom curtains up for me, they come right down to the floor, so help to keep the cold out, in the summer they will help to keep the bedroom cool too. Thermal linings. Laundry sheets etc. Has been collected for ironing, load in the washer for tonight, it will go on the airer in the morning.
Sausuage, mash and beans for supper tonight, DB will have a banana for dessert.
It's good to hear from you and am glad DB is enjoying Scrabble so you can have a bit more time to yourself!

Yesterday I made R4 a chicken casserole since am out of his ground beef. When I tried to deliver it, the iced over frozen snow was extra slippery and about 25 feet from the house, I slipped, landing on my well padded butt (several coats!) but had to crawl over to a crab-apple tree to stand again. My phone was in my pocket, so called DH and he got a sturdy metal pole and came carefully to fetch me. We must have been a sight carefully, carefully on our way back to the house! R4 had food so didn't go hungry. I'm okay and didn't break any part of me.
The forecast is for a high of 15.5*C today, so hope the melting starts!
