Friend came to stay over Wednesday night, before driving g on to Nottingham. Lots of catching up, it was 4 years since I last saw her.
Rest of the week was reasonably quiet. We had some really nice weather in parts, several lots of hail and sleet.l have managed to lock myself out of Facebook, spent ages yesterday trying g to get back in, it just keeps taking me round and round in circles.
5 years ago I bought a shark vaccum, it has now got too heavy and makes my right wrist complain bitterly. I ordered a Gtec which came on Saturday. Put it together yesterday only to find it would not come on. Phones them today, went through hoops trying to get it to work...........in the end they asked me to pack it up and they will send me a new one.
Supper..... egg and chips, cannot be bothered to do anything else. DB is driving me nuts, I cooked pork steaks yesterday, they were so well cooked they were falling to bits, did not need much chewing...........he could not swallow them.....I was not amused, I can see me having to mince everything or give him baby food!!!
You've had all manner of weather in the last week! Am glad you and DB could stay tucked inside.
ReplyDeleteHow nice to be able to offer a friend overnight accommodation so you two could catch up on everything and she could have a restful sleep.
I'm finding it difficult to reach things that used to be easy to reach so suppose I'm shrinking. I do have my mother's step stool to use as she must have shrunk without my noticing!
Sorry DB needs such mushy food now.
Am wrapping and packing up the 3 quilts going to a friend for her granddaughters.
It's warming up here but two nights ago the low was just below freezing.
