But we have a string breeze. Quiet day after a busy day yesterday.
Grocery delivery first thing then DB's carer came to get him up and dressed in decent clothes, then we were off to Hose to see our friends. T came in late, he is dealing with his mother's funeral in a couple of weeks. We were given news about a friend who had a fall and is now in a nursing home. She has dementia, I doubt she will come home again.
Back at the apartment, DB had some lunch and I got ready for my 2 hour out. When I got back there was an ambulance at the door, I found out later, one of the ladies from the Wednesday coffee group had fallen, she was wheeled off to hospital.
Sausage and mash for supper, strawberries for dessert.
I'm so glad you have a 2 hour outing to yourself and that you and DB are keeping up with your friends in Hose!
ReplyDeleteSorry friends and acquaintances are losing loved one and needing extra care due to falls but we're at that stage of life, too, tho we're a bit younger than you and lots younger than DB.
Yesterday I pressed, marked, sewed, and trimmed the 4th side of Skylines and am about to cut the binding.
Take care, my friend!
Hugs!
