Had to psyce myself up to get ready to go over and see DB. It was a hour journey each way, we stayed fro 3/4 of an hour.
He was finishing off his dessert. Spent time talking about various things. I am not sure if I will go again, I found the journey there arduous. Was better coming home.
All ready for bed, I am very tired so hopefully I will sleep better.
Am glad you got to visit DB but am sorry the long journey there and back home was so tiring for you. Fitting into the car for the trip must have been difficult, too. Is there any clue as to when DB is coming home?

It was to be a rainy day here but the AM rain is taking a hiatus and won't be back until this evening at about 7p. Mud from snow meltdown meet mud from rain!
I'm thinking of selling my parent's Stieff 8 place setting silverware plus some serving pieces that have not been used often since new in 1943. Also have some well used silverware from AMIL as well as 6 place settings of Stieff silverware that belonged to my great aunt. Wonder how much value there is in silverware these days? I'll soon find out. We inherited too much stuff that the boys don't want.
