The community visitor came to see DB. Nice lady who actually listened to what we both had to say. She took a history of what happened with DB and then she and I did a walk round the bungalow looking at various things. She is going to get a lever to help DB get out of bed, she is also sending me exercises to be done twice a day to try and strengthen DBs legs. In the meantime he is not to walk anywhere, she will come in 3 weeks to see how he has got on.
I asked about a light wheel chair so I can get him out, they only do heavy ones, so I need to contact the two businesses in the Town and see what they can come up with. It's not going to be easy as I need someone to sit with DB.
We had rain overnight but it's sunny now, it's going to be awkward collecting Trevor, but I will try and work something out.
We are having the first of the Sundays roasts from WFF, roast lamb, I have strawberries for dessert with some ice cream.
How marvelous to have had a community visitor to come to your home and not only actually listened to you both, but thought about what you'd said and had suggestions for DB's care!!! Only, how can DB refrain from walking anywhere for 3 weeks?

Only a few more cool days with rain likely Tue and Wed. It's been a delight to have such cool days and nights so late in May.
Have just mended a pocket on one of R4's shirts but hope for energy to get a move on in the sewing room.
