another dollar. DB was ok ish yesterday, started this morning with an order which I disregarded. He is up and in his chair, had his breakfast and helped me as much as he could parcel something up. A friend from the retreats has asked for it, so just need her address so I can arrnage the courier for her. Something else gone.
The Chrarity shop refused the steam iron, so have put it on freecycle other wise the Heat Foundation will collect it, I hope.
A much cooler day, have eggs on for a salad at lunch time the physio is coming to see DB at lunchtime, she can put up with seeing him eat his lunch!! Could not care less........
I had to sweep the porch this morning the wind yesterday blew a lot of debris in. Went over the floor in there and the kitchen with a damp mop, so floor all clean again.
I am gradually clearing the sewing room, the slider is in there but if I want to sew it can go in the bedroom till I have finished sewing. Beginning to see the wood through the trees in there.
So lunch today is egg salad, supper rolls and cake.
Am glad things are evening out with DB and you can regard some things as forgetable!
ReplyDeleteHope the PT person takes note of any problems DB may have while eating so he/she can report back to the carer team if any problems are noted.
38*C here today and it's a misery outside. Good day to start cutting fabrics and sewing 9 patches a bit under 6" in size.
