Thunder storms

and heavy rain forcast, flood warnings in place........how wonderful.

I got my tablet back yesterday, it had been updated, so I am having to put information in, keeps throwing my passwords out.

DB continues to be a pain in the neck....what new.........

I did take the pictures down yesterday, all the photos have been stored and the frames are going to the charity shop tomorrow when I go to the library.

Nothing much planned for today, I will continue to sort out the sewing room, I also need to go down to the shop and see if they have any boxes I can have, I have decided that most of the crystal is going. I collected preserve jars.......for jam and marmalade. There are some things I want to keep, will have to find somewhere to store them.

Supper tonight, fish and chips, banana and ice cream to follow.

  1. Hope your thunderstorms don't cause flooding, power outages, or any other bothers. Our forecast for this evening is also for thunderstorms.
Do the kids or grands want any of your crystal or picture frames?
When I helped my mother pack and move house she was appalled that we went to the liquor store for boxes as she hoped no one from church would see here there! I told her that all Baptists got their moving boxes from the liquor store because the boxes were sturdy, not too big, and always in good supply.
Yesterday we found a huge hornet nest that experts will have to deal with as we cannot.
Will rearrange the SIC blocks to some extent today but don't feel so great so that might be it.

    Hugs!

  2. When we moved (downsized) last October, I got rid of so much stuff. All my crystal went, along with oil paintings, Royal Doulton ornaments and some old dolls. I ended up putting it in an auction, didn't make a huge sum but the money helped towards moving costs. Daughter didn't want very much at all, it wasn't her style. And now we're in a much smaller, modern house, it didn't go anyway. Less storage too. Good luck with your move. Xx
