Hot, Hot, Hot

temperature has rocketed up today. Thankfully it cooling down now.

I collected Trevor for his last visit this morning, called into the flat to put washing on and leave a large container. Late yesterday I discovered more pots down the side of the garage, we cleared them all plus T broke down a picnic table, two journies and they have all gone.

I took Trevor home and called at the flat to leave a pair of curtains and empty the washer, its all hung on the airer in the second bedroom. Stuff that was left is now hanging in the walk in wardrobe.

Cleaner Clare is coming tonight to collect the freezer, I need to move the car so they can reverse the van down to the garage.

We are not having supper tonight, will finish off the cream tea from yesterday, I gave Trevor a piece of my birthday cake with his bacon sandwich at lunch time.

So the rest of this week is going to be hectic, I have to take paper work in to the Council on Friday and also deposit a check in the Bank, so DB will have to look after himself for an hour or so.

  1. You've accomplished so very much and am glad you can do washing at the flat and hang things in the closet. Every little bit taken and left there ahead of the move is a bonus. Does the flat have air conditioning?
Trevor is going to miss working for you and DB so if he's interested in more work, perhaps you can recommend him to friends. Nice of you to share your cake with him as a send off!
Hope the weather is cooler and really cool on moving day! We're about to be back up around 33*C on Thursday and several days thereafter.
This morning I sewed about 1/3 of the blocks of the baby quilt together but am now tired so the last 8 block pairs are pinned on the sewing edge of the blocks.
It's time for me to pick up a book and rest. Hope you are doing the same.

    Hugs!
