last night DB coughed for 2 periods once for over an hour and secondly for 3/4 of an hour. I had propped him upright with all the pillows on the bed except one, eventually he fell asleep. I managed just over 2 hours, the worst night so far. Needless to say he has slept for most of the morning in his chair. I had to force myself to get up.
Did not get dressed until lunchtime and have had about an hours doze this afternoon. I have no idea where these coughing fits come from or why they last so long.......will be contacting the Drs on Monday morning.
So nothing done today except prepare meals...... I hope we do not have a re-run tonight..............

ReplyDeleteThere is a throat spray and lozenge (no Rx needed) that stops coughs and soothes sore throats called Cepastat. If it's available in the UK, it's worth buying to stop DB's coughs so you two can sleep.
Hope you have some ding meals in the freezer!
We have all day rain today, some mizzle then a downpour then nothing for a while and more rain. It is much needed.
Hope to make the potato cake/egg/cheese/broccoli/bacon casserole for R4 today and cut batting for the baby quilt.
