Spent all morning sorting food etc for tomorrow as well as packing a case, just in case, although I hope tobe home by supper time. DD2 will be arriving shortly, she is staying for 3 days. two nights suppers in the fridge, just need reheating.
OT came to see DB this morning, she is arranging for a ring for him to sit on and also a different type of frame to get around with.
Our old carer was here again this morning, no idea when I will see her again.
DB has slept again most of the day.
Supper is sausage, mash and baked beans........
I'm so glad DD2 will be with DB while you're at the hospital and thereafter.
ReplyDeleteWishing you well with the pacemaker replacement procedure and hope it's finished early enough that you can go home before dark. I know you've planned well for DB's care, food, and all you're likely to need, too, so hope you can relax, sleep well tonight. I trust DD2 or a friend will drive you to the hospital tomorrow and bring you home again.
You can pretend that one of the masked nurses is me and ask that he/she will hold your hand as you drift off to sleep. That's what I'd do if I were with you.
