Bad night last night, this morning DB is constantly asking for the comode..........its a case of all or nothing........drives me nuts.
Sun comes and goes, the ground was wet so we had rain overnight, temperature is quite high for November. Tonight is bonfire night, so fireworks going off from dusk until well after midnight, I can still hear them with my hearing aid out!
No plans for the day, DB is asleep just now. Message from DD2 Emilio has chicken pox!! He is also having more teeth come through, so glad I do not live at their house.
Last week DD2 and I both made sheperds pie for Thursday night, so one went in the freezer, we are having that tonight with calebrease and carrots. No dessert, finished the crumble last night.
I am hoping to get back to the machine, I need to sort out some stuff and list DBs rollator for sale. I am looking at getting a lightweight wheelchair, so I can get him out. I need some advice, there is a shop in the town, will ring them and see what they have to say. Do I rent or do I buy? I can buy one using DB's attendance allowence......... will have to see. It needs to fold up and go in the boot of the car.
Scar doing fine, will have to take the sterestrips off then I can shower and wash my hair.
So sorry for your bad night and for the all too frequent request for the commode. Perhaps he needs nighttime diapers and you need to sleep in the other room?
ReplyDeletePoor little Emelio with the chicken pox. I remember when I had them, my mother made me fabric mittens so I couldn't scratch the itches and get scars. She used Calamine lotion and in the decades since, they've added Benedryl to the mix (here) and sell Caladryl which works wonders.
We bought a used folding wheelchair for FIL and sold it quickly for a tad more when he no longer needed it.
Hope you can soon shower and wash your hair as that will feel great!
