Its not raining, but very cold. Glad we are in the warm.
Carers were later this morning, so a bit of a lie in.
Cleaned the fridge out ready for the delivery on Monday, that will be it until after the holiday.
Nothing much to report, I slept better last night, mind you I was shattered.
Cooked mince for supper, put half in a dish for shepherds pie next week, it's in the freezer. Last night I cooked chips for the first time for ages, DB was getting fed up with mashed spud.
So glad you and DB could sleep in a bit since the carer was a bit late and glad you had a better night's sleep.
ReplyDeleteIt's always nice to be warm and in cozy clothes indoors when it's cold outside. Last winter DH discovered he like sweatpants for home wear when it's cold. I've been wearing them for years as I am often cold.
Chips are a good way to have potatoes but we find that rice is good occasionally, too.
I missed the mailman today so DS1's card may be late for his Christmas Eve birthday.
If the forecast is correct, we'll have 16*C for Christmas day.
