The last few days have been bright and sunny, but there has been a strong wind. Today very little wind and its due to be 15c + I have all the windows open, wish I could have the washing out, no way.........according to the powers that be thats why we have washer dryers.......so we do not spoil the aesthetics of the building by having the washing blowing on the line. Result either horrendous electric bills or damp washing hanging about. Glad we have the two bedrooms, The sewing room comes in handly for drying laundry on the airer.
We went to the coffee morning in the lounge this morning, usual people there, no notices read out manager not around.
My flowers from mothers day are still going strong, the lily has come out, but sadly does not smell. I love flowers with a scent.
Supper tonight chicken with apricots and pilu rice. not sure about a dessert as yet.
No fair to require laundry be dried out of sight in dryer or airer! Good grief!
ReplyDeleteIt's sunny here today but was -3*C last night and 7.5*C for our high. Despite the cold, the forsythia, Bradford pears, and crabapple are in bloom. The cherry tree lost its blooms to the incredible wind we had Sunday night.
I'm finally making binding for the baby quilt and that baby is still not in school yet!
