We had a tremendous thunderstorm early this morning, lightening struck a house about half a mile from here, we could smell the burning. Fortunately no one was hurt, but it had made a mess of the roof and attic.
Much to my surprise DB walked from the sitting room to the shower room using his walker and back again......things are looking up.......how long for remains to be seen.
We are mainly eating salad, last night's supper was macaroni on toast........tonight it's corned beef salad. I wish it would calm down a bit, it's too hot for comfort.

ReplyDeleteHow hot is it there today? Our high today is to be 29.5*C but the coming six days will be cooler - unless something changes!
Yesterday we had .69" of rain so the May today rainfall is 6.13" of rain if you can believe it. We cannot.
Hope I can do the perimeter stitching on Skylines today.
