Very dull and chilly day. Last night we were treated to hours of wizz,bang, crack and various other noises as local families celebrated bonfire night.
Memories of nights when the children were small, we used to pool fireworks with a couple of neighbours. Potatoes and sausages were roasted and enjoyed after the fireworks with a mug of hot chocolate..........my goodness that was 60 years ago.
DB has been OK today, I took him out in the car yesterday when I went for a blood test, he stayed
in the car reading. He is walking quite a bit with his frame.
This afternoon I potted up another 8 geranium cuttings, red this time, so hopefully will not have to buy any next year. I still need to clear the plant pots for the bulbs, must get them done next week.
Supper tonight, home made fish and chips. Its dark early at night, so not able to go to the fish and chip shop. Not allowed to drive at night.
It sounds like DB is improving and has more energy! How marvelous.
ReplyDeleteWonderful, too, that you're getting next year's flowers potted up so they're ready in the spring. Will they stay in the conservatory during the winter?
We may have rain today but then again, it may miss us entirely. No clue until later!
My sprained ankle has slowed me down in a major way. The swelling is down somewhat but the bruising looks awful.
