again, although rain is forecast later, we really need it.
Not such a good night, was up at 7.30, prepped breakfast and had mine, carer came just after 8am, so I set off to collect Trevor. Sun is warm already, but there is a breeze, put the laundry out, it should dry and air on the line.
DB was ok when he got up, is asleep just now, has a dizzy. My knees are much the same, I put up with them during the day, but take pain killers when I go to bed at night, not that they always help me to sleep, but thats life. Would not be able to ramble as we did when the children were young, in fact I doubt I could walk to the shop down the road, so what with DB and my knees I am stuck in the house.
Trevor is cutting back the two laurel bushes in the garden, cutting all the new growth off to keep them under control. He is going to water the part of the garden thats in shade.
I air fryed the gammon joint, sliced it yesterday and had some with salad for supper last night, have kept some for lunchtime rolls, the rest is in the freezer. I am not happy with the slicer I bough, find it difficult to use, should have gone with a Kenwood, similar to the one that broke.
No idea what I am going to do for supper, I have ordered frozen roast dinners for the next month. See how we go. I need to do a small order for Morrison, but no milk, I have 8 pints in the fridge and 4 pints in the freezer, need to use it all up before I get any more.
So sorry for the not so great sleep last night and am really sorry your knees now restrict where you can go.

Might you sell the new meat slicer for enough to get yourself another Kenwood?
We're likely to have rain nearly constantly for the next 36 or 48 hours. Today the rain is expected to start at around 2pm. Am glad the laundry and mowing is done!
I plan to sew.
