over the past 2 nights I have had precisely 5 hours sleep, DB was up and down to the toilet more times than I have had hot dinners. He suffered with IBS, obviously something has affected it. I left a message for the carer, but she still came in and woke me just after 8am, DB was not the only one who was dizzy!!
I eventually got up at 11am, washed dressed and then laid on the bed reading..... DB finally made it to the sitting room at 3pm. It was a struggle to get DB to drink, did manage it and also fed him yogurt, lifting his head sent himback on the waltzer!!
Doing HM fish and chips tonight.
Oh, Anne! It's just awful that you've had so little sleep. Does DB need you there or might you sleep in the recliner? Your surely need a Nana Nap!
ReplyDeleteAs for nutrition, might DB need one of those liquid nutrition drinks? Our DIL's father has those beverages as his only food because of having cancer of the tongue and part of his tongue was removed. Might you need to consult a nutritionist? Hope he eats well tonight and has no GI unpleasant consequences.
Alas, my new Birkies came today and they are too big and too wide. Back they go!
It's a pleasant 20.5*C today and DS1 is here helping DH put sharp blades on the lawn mower.
Am about to make a quiche without a crust. Might you like the recipe for DB?
Hugs!
