Yesterday did not improve. DB collapsed as he was getting up after his siesta, so I called the ambulance and they have taken him off to LRI. Could not get any imfo last night. Phoned this morning and he has been admitted, tried to ring but phone constantly engaged. Not sure if I am going to try and go in to see him, my right knee is giving me grief this morning, its a fair walk round the hospital.......will keep trying the phone.
Had a reasonable night sleep all things considered.......hoping for better tonight.
Oh, Anne. I am so sorry for this turn in DB's strength and well being and hope the coming days will see him improving. May the medical folks find a cause and cure for whatever is causing these episodes.
ReplyDeleteMight it be a drop in his BP as he changes position from lying to sitting to standing too quickly? Some people faint if their BP drops low enough.
Hope this time with DB away will let you baby your poor knee. DH finds his knee pain decreases when he puts on a splint that has velcro straps. He surmises the warmth (only body heat) from the splint and the reminder to baby his knee are what helps decrease his knee pain.
We had more than 1" of rain yesterday and all outside is muddy and mushy.
