Bit breezy

There is quite a breeze this morning, but its very humid, the weather is expected to last until Sunday......

Managed to the library and also the charity shop this morning. DB was ok whilst I was gone. It is his birthday today, my cleaner brought him a cake last night, victoria sponge decorated with strawberries, will have it at tea time, fish and chips for lunch, will be ready shortly.

I will be sitting in the cool for the rest of the day, have just picked strawberries from the contianer in the garden, enough for strawberries for the two of us for dessert tomorrow. I am planning to cook pork on Sunday.

Have just sorted my car insurance this morning, £527!!! its a good job we have saved the cash in a bills account, it cost me £300+ for the car yesterday, as well as the  service I paid for last week.

    Happy Birthday to DB and what a pretty birthday cake was made for him. Delicious, too, no doubt so enjoy every bite!
    Am glad to hear DB was fine while you were away.
    We'll be heading to the library today as I'm out of books - if I don't include all we own! I'm actually reading one of our books this morning and that's okay.
