The weather was not as bad as it was forcast, we did have periods of heavy rain and high winds, but inspersed with sunny spells.
This morning it is sunny and the temperature is rising, we still have quite a strong wind.
DB continues to ignore any requests to keep quiet and stop pushing for various things to be done......I put in the postal re-direction at 10pm last night to shut him up.
Needless to say when I got into bed my back siezed up again, I had to stagger into the kitchen, holding on to furniture to get a drink!!
Off to the tip with the last of the cardboard, I hope. The wall shelves came down yesterday, none of the charity shops will take them despite asking for furniture....... so its either broken down and goes to the tip or I leave it in the garage.
There is still some clearing up needed in the garden, plastic pots etc destined for the tip, I need to collect them in a poly bag. I am going to take one trough with us and a couple of plant trays, I can put on the window cill in the kitchen with herb plants on. I am also going to take some of the potted plants to stand on the small patio.
Supper tonight is beef casserole, I am going to do dumplings rather than mashed potato. No idea about a dessert.

ReplyDeleteHave you considered taking a pill for your back an hour before you go to bed? It might help a lot with all that's keeping you busy during the day.
Might the pastor who does the coffee morning have a use for the wall shelves or know someone who could use them?
It's suppose to be raining here this morning but you cannot prove it by looking out the windows. The sky is overcast, but nothing is wet.
I continue to sew block pairs together and today after sewing the last two rows into pairs, will add the far right vertical row blocks to the pair they're beside in the layout. Don't know if I'll get to sewing pairs together 2 over 2 today but that's the next step.
