It has been an awful rainy day again, 3pm and the sitting room lights are on.
We went to Hose for the coffee morning. DB has been OK the last two mornings. It was Joyce's 96th birthday, we were treated to birthday cake and also given a cup cake each to bring home. It rained all the way there and home again, and it's still raining, at least it is not snow.
So far this week I have not slept for more that 5 hours for the last 3 nights........I need a decent night's sleep!!
Supper tonight chicken Kiev, baked tomato and new potatoes. We will have the cup cakes for dessert.
So glad DB has been okay for the last two mornings and that you two could go to the coffee morning without taking a boat! Wishing Joyce a Happy 96th birthday! Nice to have cake and cupcakes to bring home for tonight's dessert!

Today, tomorrow, and Friday are going to be slightly warmer but the likelihood of snow Saturday, sleet and snow Saturday night, Sunday and Sunday night with frigid temperatures is all too real. I hate ice! We have groceries coming today to stock up.
Hope to sew today and have some holiday quilts to put away.
