but cold this morning. Mac came for probably the last time this season to cut the grass, sort out pots in the shed and cut back some more of the ivy.
I set to yesterday and started another mat for SIL disaster struck again, I had turned the machine off, when I restarted it.....it did not go back to where it left off. Fiddled with it for a while and then decided to call it a day and start another one, it sewed perfectly.
Prepped the vggies etc for supper and also made an apple and blackberry crumble for dessert for tonight and possibly two more nights.
Rain was forecast for 3pm and its raining, a fine morning thankfully so we could get the grass cut.
So supper tonight, roast chicken, baby potatoes, cauliflower, calebrease and gravy, there will be enough chicken for rolls tomorrow lunch time. We finished the quiche off for lunch today with tomato salad.
What lovely mats and am sorry the other one wasn't perfect because the machine didn't re-start in the right place. Bother! Have fun making the Drummer Boy.
ReplyDeleteAm glad your grass was mowed before the rain started. It's nice to have the yard looking tidy.
Your dinner menu sounds yummy, so I'll try to arrive in time to have some! Wish there wasn't an ocean in the way to me being there for supper.
Am doing laundry for DS2 and have eliminated one border from the new Ukraine quilt but it still won't be finished in time.
Our weather is cooling and our high today is 25*C with the low tonight 15*C. No rain in the 10 day forecast but lovely cool days will continue. Must be autumn!
Hugs!
